Additional Info: Mr. Bouurne was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England on November 25,1884, the son of William Bourne of 256 High Street, Cheltenham. He served for 5 years in the 1st Glouucestershire (Engineers?) before emigrating to Canada. Henry was working as a plumber when he enlisted in the 28th Battalion at Moose Jaw on October 24, 1914. At the time of his enlistment, Private Bourne was 5'91/2" tall with brown hair, blue eyes and a ruddy complexion. Mr. Bourne survived the war.
